Terms of use
In short: Robolero informs and puts people in touch; the sale takes place between seller and buyer. Valuations are estimates. Whoever publishes a listing is responsible for what they write. (English translation for convenience: the Italian version is the binding one.)
1. Who we are and what we do
Robolero is an information service about robots (guides, model sheets, prices, used-robot valuation) and a marketplace that puts people selling a robot in touch with people looking for one.
Robolero neither sells nor buys robots, takes no part in negotiations and is not a party to the sale contract: the contract is concluded between seller and buyer. The site operator can be reached at support@robolero.com.
By using the site you accept these terms. Personal data is covered by the privacy notice.
2. Valuations and prices
The used-robot valuation is an indicative estimate: it takes into account the robot's model, age, condition, battery, accessories and documents. It is not an appraisal or an offer to buy: the final price is set by the negotiation.
New prices and specifications are indicative, gathered from official sources and shown with the date they were last checked. Before buying, check them on the manufacturer's or retailer's website: they can change from one day to the next.
3. Listings
Whoever publishes a listing declares:
- that they are an adult (18 or over);
- that they own the robot, or are authorised to sell it;
- that the robot is as described: model, year, condition, accessories, documents;
- that the photos are theirs, or that they have the right to use them;
- that the price shown is genuine.
Fake listings, listings for robots one does not own, stolen robots or robots without documents, and unlawful or misleading content are not allowed. Robolero checks listings before publishing them and may refuse, suspend or remove a listing at any time, without notice and without having to give a reason.
Today publishing a listing is free and Robolero charges no commission. If that changes, we will write it here first. The seller's contact details never appear in the listing.
4. Contact between users
The buyer writes to the seller from the form on the listing page and, by ticking the box, agrees to pass on their name, email, phone number if given and the text of the message. The seller replies directly to the buyer. From then on the negotiation, payment and delivery take place between them, outside the site.
If seller and buyer are both private individuals, the sale is a private sale: the legal guarantee of conformity of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) does not apply, since it covers only sales from a trader to a consumer. The Civil Code rules on sales apply.
If the seller is a trader (retailer, company) and the buyer a consumer, the Consumer Code and the right of withdrawal provided by law apply: it is the trader who must comply with them and state their business details in the listing or in the reply.
Practical advice: before paying, see the robot in person or ask for a video, check the documents and be wary of anyone asking for a deposit without making themselves known.
5. Liability
Robolero does not guarantee:
- the outcome of negotiations between users;
- the truthfulness and accuracy of listings, although it checks them before publication;
- the continuous availability of the service, which may be suspended for maintenance or for external causes;
- the accuracy of prices, specifications and valuations.
To the extent permitted by law, Robolero is not liable for damage arising from use of the site, from negotiations between users or from inaccurate information. Liability that the law does not allow to be excluded remains unaffected.
6. Trademarks and content
Manufacturers' trademarks and names (Unitree, Boston Dynamics, Xiaomi and the others) belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe the products: we have no affiliation with them and no manufacturer endorses or sponsors Robolero.
Texts, renders, graphics, valuations and the structure of the site belong to Robolero. You may quote them with a link to the source; you may not copy or republish them without permission. Listing photos remain the property of whoever uploaded them, who authorises us to show them in the listing.
7. Reports
If you find a suspicious listing, unlawful content or an error, write to support@robolero.com stating the page and the reason: we reply within 7 days. This address is the point of contact for users and authorities under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
8. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms: the version published here, with its date, is the one that applies. Italian law governs. If you are a consumer, disputes are heard by the court of the place where you reside or are domiciled.
