Unitree Go2: versions, European prices and checks before buying

The Unitree Go2 is a quadruped sold in several configurations. This guide compares the maker's published information with an offer from a European retailer: ROBOLERO has not tested the robot in person. Before choosing a version, check the delivered price, availability and the accessories actually included.

Which version to consider

VersionPotential useCheck before ordering
AirAn entry configurationDelivered price in your country, controller and support
ProAdditional features over AirExact package, feature compatibility and stock
XA more advanced consumer configurationDifferences from Pro, included accessories and final cost
EDUDevelopers and institutionsSDK, software support and a quote for the chosen configuration

The official Unitree specification describes 4D LiDAR, approximate dimensions of 70 × 31 × 40 cm and a weight around 15 kg. These are manufacturer claims, not ROBOLERO test results. Performance, runtime and access to 4G or software may vary by version, battery and market. Check the specification for the precise configuration.

The actual European cost

The official Unitree store shows US-dollar prices for selectable configurations and notes that shipping, taxes and import charges affect the total. A USD-to-EUR conversion is not a delivered European price.

For a concrete example, European retailer Generation Robots listed the Go2 Pro at €3,799 including French VAT when checked on 20 October 2026, marked it out of stock and advised contacting the seller about delivery. Its catalogue also showed the Go2 X at €7,200 including VAT, also out of stock, and EDU Plus from €7,800 including VAT with stock depending on the version. These are that retailer's prices under its VAT rules, not prices for every European country. Confirm stock, local tax, shipping, warranty and returns at checkout.

What the specifications can tell you

Unitree's LiDAR and movement features describe intended capabilities. They do not establish how a Go2 performs in a particular home, on gravel, near people or on stairs. Ask the seller which manoeuvres your version supports and where its operating and safety limits are documented. If programming matters, verify SDK compatibility for the exact model: EDU and Pro are not interchangeable.

Consider available space, supervision, charging, spare parts and local after-sales service. A demonstration video does not prove reliable autonomous operation at home.

A practical choice

Air is sensible only if the basic package meets your needs and you can verify a delivered offer. Compare Pro if you need its added functions; check stock before relying on the cited retailer price. X and EDU serve different budgets and purposes. For development work, request model-specific documentation and a quote.

Compare the official specification with the actual offer and the ROBOLERO model catalogue, rather than relying on a converted US price. This is an updated desk-based analysis, without a score or hands-on test.
