Unitree H2-X: price, variants and limits for a private buyer

The H2-X is listed at $25,400 before tax and shipping. Compare the EDU variant and ask the right questions before treating a demo as a home-use test.

What the film shows

Unitree's official H2-X film shows a full-size humanoid performing controlled, fast movements. It helps viewers see the design and some mobility, but it is not an independent test of reliability in a home. Unitree itself warns buyers to keep a safe distance from this powerful machine. The practical question for a private buyer is which functions ship in the chosen configuration and who will support it locally.

The official product page lists H2-X at $25,400 excluding tax and shipping. The H2-X EDU variant says “Contact Sales”, without a public price. A dollar list price is not a delivered quote in euros or another local currency. Ask the seller about exchange rate, tax, possible customs charges, freight, insurance, warranty and delivery to your actual address.

Check the variant before comparing prices

Unitree lists both versions at 1,725 mm tall, more than 65 kg with battery and 31 degrees of freedom. A dexterous hand is not listed on the standard H2-X; several hand models are optional on EDU. Additional development hardware and secondary development belong to EDU or optional configurations. Cameras, an LED head display and speakers are specified, but installed sensors do not by themselves prove unattended household skills.

The manufacturer's notes say specifications and appearance may differ by configuration and final product. Ask for the exact variant code and written list of accessories instead of assuming a demonstration video depicts the unit you will receive.

Battery and safety claims need context

The table states approximately eight hours of static and continuous walking endurance. These are manufacturer figures, not measurements made by ROBOLERO in a home. Load, movement, environment and configuration may change the result. Hot-swappable dual batteries and magnetic charging do not answer how long a replacement lasts or what it costs.

TechRadar's independent report describes the dramatic launch, but the word “Guardian” in the original film is not evidence that the robot can replace a security system or trained staff. The choreography says little about failure rates, children, pets or a crowded room. Unitree says some features remain in development and urges individual buyers to understand humanoid limitations.

Before paying, request the precise configuration, total delivered price, available functions today, operating safety instructions and named local repair route in writing. Compare size and maintenance with the other robots in the ROBOLERO catalogue. The embedded film stays attributed to Unitree and is not our hands-on test.
