How much does a robot dog cost? From the model price to the full purchase cost

The useful figure covers the delivered package

A robot dog’s cost depends on the model, variant and what you receive. A small educational kit and a larger quadruped need different comparisons: one minimum price does not describe the market. Start with the task you want to perform, identify the configuration and ask for the complete cost of delivery to your address.

This guide uses Unitree Go2 as a verifiable example, not a value ranking. The prices below were checked on 18 October 2026 on official pages. We have not made a purchase or conducted a hands-on test, and dollar amounts are not presented as final prices for Italy or Europe.

Verified prices: check the controller

The Unitree store distinguishes packages with and without a controller. The official technical page states that list prices exclude taxes and freight.

These are observed USD store prices, not availability promises. Confirm availability and delivery times before ordering. The shop’s general shipping figure is not a quotation for your country. We do not convert the list price at a fixed rate: check the charged currency, conversion and your payment provider’s fees.

Compare matching items

Open the Air and Pro pages, then use the variant checklist. Ask for a written list of the included battery, charger, controller and additional components. An accessory in promotional pictures does not establish that it is part of an offer.

Also identify the software and documentation available for that configuration. Unitree warns that some functions require human operation or further development: do not assign capabilities from a modified demonstration to a standard package. Compare a higher quotation with its actual inclusions, rather than the Go2 name alone.

Origin, destination and taxes

Where the robot ships from and where it arrives affect purchase cost; the shop’s domain alone does not settle this. Unitree’s store makes customers responsible for applicable customs duties, taxes and import clearance. Ask who handles them and which amounts are already included before paying.

Your Europe, the official EU portal, distinguishes purchases within the Union from imports and explains cross-border online VAT rules. We apply neither a single tax rate to all European readers nor a standard customs duty to every robot. Europe and the European Union are different areas: use the actual origin and destination and have the relevant classification and charges confirmed.

Using the calculator

Do not add an item again if the seller has included it. Mark undefined shipping, clearance or accessories as “to be confirmed”: a blank is not zero cost. Keep the dated quotation with its currency and inclusions so that you can compare it with a later offer.

Budget beyond the purchase

Before choosing, ask about compatible spare parts, repair support and any transport costs for returning the robot for repair. We do not assign a universal annual expense: usage, condition and failures are unknown. Check an additional battery for compatibility and necessity without assuming that it is included.

For EU purchases, Your Europe’s pricing guidance calls for clarity about the total, including taxes and additional charges. Choose an offer that describes the product, delivery and support precisely.
